How many times have you said to yourself I’m going on a diet? And how many times has it failed? Years of the roller coaster (dieting) (of losing and then gaining it all back plus some.)

Healthy food choices and exercise is just one moving part! Lifestyle and habit change is the key to successful weight loss.

The dreaded depression and low self worth that grips you each time you fail. Not to mention all the smaller size clothes you purchased are now once again too small.  Such a vicious cycle that can destroy not only your metabolism, but your overall mental health.

Did you know that Research suggests that roughly 80% of people who shed a significant portion of their body fat will not maintain that degree of weight loss for 12 months; and according to one meta-analysis of intervention studies, dieters regain, on average, more than half of what they lose within two years. This was my life for years, and then I had hit an all time low after gaining back all the weight I’d lost and then some. But this time was different and I went into clinical depression. And it was during this dark time that I’d finally made the decision to seek help, which was the beginning of my wellness journey.

Change your habits, change your life! Working on the inner you, to see the changes on the outer you. Trust me when I say, I know from experience of the cycle you fall  into and the dark road it leads too. The key to being successful and conquering a healthy lifestyle is changing the bad habits you've formed over the years. Learning what foods are healthy and nutritious, (count your chemicals, not your calories), learn what foods trigger those cravings, or just why you eat when you're not hungry. Who are you being when you reach for that sweet or salty trigger food? What’s going on in that moment when you want to satisfy that need? Some people might say they're just bored, stressed, tired, or that they just love to eat good food.

I usually will ask…what are you really trying to nourish here? Is it really because you're hungry, or are you trying to fill something else? If this is resonating with you and you're ready to change those habits that no longer serve you, please don’t hesitate to connect with me for a chat.
